The 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has fixed Thursday March 20, 2014 as the day to break his silence on whether he will contest again as presidential candidate.
At a meeting with Ashanti Regional executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kumasi Wednesday morning, Nana Addo said the announcement would be made in Accra.
According to Graphic's Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Donald Ato Dapatem, Nana Addo said the decision would be in the interest of the NPP and Ghana in particular.
Nana Addo is in Kumasi to interact with party faithfuls. He is expected to pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II later in the day.
