Assemblyman donates mathematical sets to Junior High School students
The Assemblyman of Tatanaa South Electoral Area in the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly, Mr. Abdul Jalil Yakubu, has donated 410 mathematical sets to all final-year Junior High School students in the area.
The beneficiary schools include Madina Fireamour Basic School, Queen of Peace Catholic Basic School, Royal Child Basic School, Ebenezer Methodist Basic School, and Hannah Complex Basic School.

This gesture marks the fourth consecutive year of Mr. Yakubu’s contributions aimed at supporting students' academic success.
#### Annual Ritual
Speaking today, Mr. Yakubu emphasized the importance of education in community development. He urged the students to study diligently and aim for excellence in their final exams.
"I am motivated to support academic pursuits because education enables individuals to achieve their dreams. Therefore, do not take your studies lightly," he said.
"Even though you will be writing your papers alone next week, remember that the entire community is with you in spirit," he added.
"On behalf of my Unit Committee Members and my entire team, I wish you all the best."
#### Commendation
The Assemblyman also commended philanthropist Mr. Chairman Ibrahim Kalushar for assisting in ensuring the schools received the mathematical sets.

On her part, the Headteacher of Fireamour 2 Basic School, Madam Rosina Serwaa Akoto, expressed her gratitude to the Assemblyman. She encouraged the students to be inspired by this gesture and make the school proud, just as their predecessors have done.
