Brong Ahafo NDC polls nearly marred

The Brong Ahafo Regional executive election of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was nearly marred when alleged supporters of Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan, the National Organiser of the party, started distributing leaflets calling for the rejection of Mr Kofi Adams’s candidature in the party’s national elections. 

Cause of confusion

Sources who pleaded anonymity and gave a copy of the said leaflet to the Daily Graphic said while the delegates were preparing to vote, a group of people from nowhere came and started sharing leaflets bearing the name “Hypocrisy of Kofi Adams Exposed” to the delegates.

On the leaflets were a number of reasons why Mr Adams, who is currently contesting the incumbent, Mr Boateng Gyan, for the national organiser position of the party, should not be voted for.
