Carlos is on course — Adwoa Amoako

One of the candidates in the recent New Patriotic Party who lost the contest in Tema West primaries, Mrs Adwoa Amoako, has praised the winner, Mr Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, for his bold post-election pronouncements to unite supporters of the party in the constituency in the run-up to the 2016 general election.

In a statement issued in Tema yesterday, she said: “Unity is key in everything we do. The elections have come and gone. What we need to do now is to forge ahead as one big family with one great destiny and I am extremely happy that our candidate is thinking on those lines.”

She lauded Mr Ahenkorah for his decision to bring everybody on board, including the former Majority Leader, Mr Abraham Osei-Aidoo, who has claimed that he has been sidelined since his defeat in the 2008 primaries.
