CPP can develop Ghana — Abu Sakara

The 2012 Presidential Candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr Abu Sakara Foster, has said the CPP has what it takes to develop Ghana from its current state of dependency.

The party on Sunday held its Greater Accra Regional Congress as part of preparations towards Election 2016.

Speaking in an interview with Joy News at the congress, he said the ownership of the country must return to Ghanaians.

“We talk about ownership of Ghana by Ghanaians; after all, we spoke for freedom and spoke for self determination. We are not saying that we should abandon interaction with all global institutions but what we are saying is that we should engage with them with a plan, and in such a way that your own interests are paramount. Tthat is what we mean by self-determination,” Dr Sakara added.
