Dorcas Affo-Toffey retains Jomoro parliamentary seat for NDC

The incumbent Member of Parliament for Jomoro, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, who stood on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), maintained her seat with 25,349 votes in last Saturday's parliamentary election in the constituency.

Her closest competitor, Paul Essien of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), secured 14,195 votes. Nana Blay Miezah, the parliamentary candidate for the Convention People’s Party (CPP), got 306 votes.

Dorcas Affo-Toffey won the 2020 parliamentary election for Jomoro with 24,356 votes to defeat the then-incumbent Paul Essien of the NPP who had 19,889 votes.
