Dr Adutwum casts his vote, calls for peaceful election
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, cast his vote at the Jachie D/A Junior High School One (1) at exactly 9:55 a.m. this morning.
The centre, which is part of a cluster of polling stations in the area, had about 25 voters in line, with 40 people having already cast their votes at the time of the visit.

Speaking to the media after voting, Dr Adutwum, who also serves as the Minister for Education, commended the Electoral Commission (EC), the Security Services, and other stakeholders involved in the electoral process.
He encouraged those who had yet to vote to do so, emphasising the importance of supporting the country's democratic development.
Dr Adutwum described the voting process as smooth, having visited several polling stations in the constituency to observe the state of affairs.
He further called the process calm and fair, urging everyone to support the EC and the Security Services to ensure a peaceful and incident-free election.
A visit to several polling stations in the Bosomtwe Constituency revealed long queues of voters waiting patiently to cast their ballots. At the Adanpapa Premium Food Jachie West Station, 135 out of the expected 420 voters had cast their votes by 10:30 a.m.
At the Aputuogya Education Office One A Polling Station, 145 people had voted by 10:47 a.m. out of an expected 630 voters.

At Aputuogya Education Office One B, 156 voters had cast their ballots by 10:50 a.m. out of the expected 629.
By 10:55 a.m., 194 out of the expected 595 voters had cast their votes at the Chief’s Palace Esreso West 1B Polling Centre, and 161 out of 596 had voted by 10:58 a.m. at another nearby station.
No incidents were reported at any of the centres visited in the morning. However, long queues were observed in areas such as Feyiase, Esreso and Abidjan Nkwanta, where voters waited patiently for their turn to vote.
