EDAG congratulates President-elect Mahama
The Explosive Dealers Association of Ghana (EDAG) has extended its congratulations to Mr. John Dramani Mahama on his election as President-elect of Ghana.
In a statement signed by the association's chairman, Yusif Alhassan, EDAG acknowledged the challenges faced during the campaign and credited Mahama's victory to his experience, determination, and the impactful policies presented.

"The road to becoming President of the Republic has undoubtedly been fraught with challenges, yet your experience, determination, and the policies you outlined during your campaign have led you to this significant milestone," the statement read.
EDAG expressed confidence in Mahama's leadership to drive Ghana towards greater prosperity, equality, and inclusivity.
The association also commended the President-elect's commitment to tackling illegal mining (galamsey) and pledged their support in addressing this critical issue.
"We are happy that key among your policies is to curb the menace of galamsey. As an association representing the interests of explosive dealers and promoting adherence to applicable laws and practices, we look forward to working with your government toward responsible mining and effectively addressing the galamsey menace," Mr. Alhassan stated.
Furthermore, EDAG assured Mr. Mahama of its preparedness to provide advocacy and expertise in fostering economic prosperity, innovation, and unity. They emphasized their commitment to contributing positively under his administration to ensure social and economic advancement for all citizens.
