Election 2024:NDC claims tentative victory with 185 parliamentary seats in 2024 election

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that it has secured 185 parliamentary seats in the 2024 general elections.

According to the party’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, the figure, which is based on the party's internal results collation from polling stations across the country, marks a significant milestone for the NDC.

At a press conference on Sunday, December 8, Mr Gyamfi provided an update on the party’s progress in the parliamentary race, stating that NDC agents had worked diligently to gather data, which suggests a commanding victory for the party. 

“Our internal collation shows that the NDC has tentatively won 185 parliamentary seats. This reflects the overwhelming confidence that Ghanaians have placed in us to represent them in Parliament,” Gyamfi said.

He further emphasised that this result signals a clear majority for the NDC, giving the party a strong mandate to implement its legislative agenda.
