NPP remains resolute, united for 2028 victory — Deputy National Women’s Organiser
The Deputy National Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hajia Safia Mohammed, has reaffirmed the party’s determination to reorganise and rebuild for the 2028 general election.
Despite the outcome of the 2024 general election, she said the NPP remained committed to strengthening its structures and mobilising its grassroots to reclaim political power in 2028.
“We remain resolute and focused as a party. The outcome of the 2024 election will not deter us; rather, it will strengthen our resolve to reorganise, rebuild and come back stronger,” she stated.
“If elections were to be held today, the electorate would definitely vote for the NPP because they have come to realise the deception of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),” she stressed.
Donation
Hajia Safia said this when she donated building materials and cash to support the ongoing construction of the first-ever Northern Regional office of the party located at Zogbeli in the Tamale Metropolis last Monday.
The items included 300 bags of cement, 12 shovels, 12 head pans, 20 ablution cans, two bags of sugar, four cartons of milk, two boxes of tea and GH¢30,000.
She explained that the gesture was part of her commitment to enhancing the party’s operational capacity in the region and to providing a conducive environment for party activities.
She said investing in party infrastructure was critical to sustaining internal organisation and ensuring effective coordination of activities at the regional level.
Hajia Safia, who is aspiring for the National Women’s Organiser position in the forthcoming national executive election, urged party members not to be discouraged by the electoral outcome but rather work collectively towards rebuilding and strengthening the party.
Commendation
The Northern Regional Treasurer of the NPP, Soyibu Yussif, who received the items, expressed gratitude to Hajia Safia for the support.
He said the donation would significantly contribute to the progress of the project and help accelerate work on the regional office.
He added that the completion of the office complex would enhance administrative efficiency and serve as a central point for party activities in the region.
