Retain NPP to continue transformation of nation
The Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has appealed to Ghanaians to retain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government in power to continue the good development projects ongoing in various sectors of the economy.

He explained that, given the country's current development and strategic policies, voting for any other party during the election would truncate initiatives that are transforming the nation.

Speaking at the launching of the “Bawumia Volunteers 2024 (B24)” in Kumasi last Friday, Dr Adutwum urged Ghanaians to vote massively for the NPP during the December 7 elections to protect and continue its novel policies, including the Free Senior High School policy, among others.
Present at the launching were some incumbent Members of Parliament (MPS), chief executive officers (CEOs) of state-owned institutions from the region, some former and current CEOs, Ashanti regional executives of NPP and a host of other dignitaries.
To ensure a massive victory for the party during the December general election, the Dr Mahamudu Bawumia campaign team has appointed Dr Adutwum to chair the B24 initiative to strategise for victory on December 7.
As part of the strategies, the volunteer groups would be resourced to embark on a house-to-house, shop-to-shop, market-to-market and community-to-community campaign on why people should vote for the NPP.
Mistake of 2008
Dr Adutwum, who is also the MP for Bosomtwe in the Ashanti Region, reminded Ghanaians not to repeat the mistake made in 2008 of voting the NPP out of power and regretting it.
“We don’t need to truncate the massive development going on in the country, which, when allowed for a few years, will position the country among top economies in the sub-region,” he said.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Antwi Boasiako, affectionately called “Chairman Wontumi” announced that the party will record a one-touch victory during December due to its track record and the policies it had rolled out for the transformation of the nation’s economy.
He urged party supporters to unite and work very hard by reaching out to electorates in their zones and communities to campaign.
The Middle Belt Campaign Co-ordinator for Bawumia’s campaign, Dr Nana Ayew Afriye, who is also the MP for Effiduase Asokore, explained that B24, under the leadership of Dr Adutwum, would harmonise identifiable groups across the country to ensure a united and well-coordinated campaign.
He appealed to party members to support Dr Adutwum and all other leaders in the region and the country to ensure a smooth campaign for Dr Bawumia's victory on December 7 to become the President of Ghana.
