Gov’t names 3 new chief executives

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated three persons for approval by their respective assemblies as municipal and district chief executives.
A statement from the Flagstaff House named the nominees as Alhaji Iddi Manzah Mahama, Kumbungu; Mr Daniel Osei Asante, Akyem North, and Nurudeen Ahortu, Ada East.
It said the nominations were in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution n and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
