I'm not into politics for money - Nana Akufo-Addo

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has said he would guard the resources of the nation to the benefit of all when elected into power. According to him, he’s not into politics to amass wealth.

“I am not into politics to take bribes or be corrupt. I did not come into politics to line my pockets with the money of poor Ghanaians. That is not why I am into politics,” Nana said on Sunday at the end of his four-day tour of the Central Region. 

Nana Addo also reiterated his incorruptible nature, saying, “I am clean, because I did not go into government to steal money. They have looked everywhere, and still they have nothing against me. They try to say this and that, and to find something against me. But, up till today, there is nothing against me. This is because I was clean when I was in government. I did not go into government to steal money.”
