Kofi Brako predicts landslide victory
He said he made the prediction based on the response of the electorate during his interaction with them.
According to him, the NPP had the goodwill of the people in the constituency, who had vowed to vote massively for him and Nana Akufo-Addo, come December 7.
He stressed that the NPP had never lost in any of the 81 polling stations in the constituency since 1996, both in the presidential and parliamentary polls, adding that “this year will not be different from the previous years”.
He said when given the mandate as MP, his priorities would include educational development, health promotion, youth empowerment and sports, environmental sanitation and improvement of security.
Mr Brako, therefore, appealed to the people in the constituency to elect him as their MP to transform their lives and create job avenues for them.
Relatedly, supporters of the NPP drawn from Communities 4,7,8,and 9 in the Tema Central Constituency on Saturday march through the streets to announce their presence and readiness to win the newly created constituency massively.
Amidst drumming and dancing, most of the supporters were clad in party T-shirts and with vuvuzelers they sang praises to God and called on all NPP sympathizers to vote massively for the party.
The walk ended at the Community Eight No 3 School Park where Mr Brako addressed supporters to turn up and vote massively for the NPP to save Ghanaians from the hardship they had faced over the past four yeas.
He said a vote for Nana Akufo-Addo was a vote for development, peace, free quality education, quality healthcare and progress.
He further urged them to be extra vigilant, confident and ready to report any form of problems to the police or electoral officers on voting day.
