Kwabena Agyepong's secretary’s office was ransacked – Nana Akomea

The Communicators Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has revealed that the office of the secretary to the party’s General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong, was ransacked.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, Mr Akomea said, the ransacking took place on May 21, the same day that the NPP’s Upper East regional chairman, Adams Mahama, died.

Describing the ransacking as “a bad and very regrettable act,” Mr Akomea expressed hope that “the perpetrators will be identified and severely punished”.

He, however, attempted to play down the incident, noting that “emotions at the head office and elsewhere were at fever pitch” following the death of Mr Mahama in an acid attack.
