The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Sammy Awuku, has urged the youth to lead the 'change' that the country seeks this year.

"The youth led the change in Nigeria....the youth led the change in Cote d’Ivoire and it is now the turn of the youth of Ghana to lead the change," he told the NPP youth who embarked on a walk for change to mark AU day last Wednesday.

The leadership of the youth wing of the party organised the 'walk for change’ which began at the Ayi Mensah Toll Booth and ended at the Peduase Lodge.

According to Mr Awuku, the change the country seeks this year is a change from corruption, incompetence, massive unemployment among the youth and insensitivity.

"We are only assured of a brighter future if we kick this government out and bring in the NPP," he stated.

He urged the youth to continually tell Ghanaian voters to vote for the NPP flag bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
