“NPP has done a lot for us,” Nana Duku Appiah Dankwah said, emphasising the positive impact of the Free SHS policy on families across Ghana. “Today, if you go to every house in Ghana, there are beneficiaries of Free SHS,” he added, crediting the NPP for making education accessible to more Ghanaians.
He also recalled previous policies under the NPP, notably former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s Free Maternity Care initiative, which provided free healthcare services to pregnant women across the country. “During President Kufuor's time, he introduced Free Maternity, and every pregnant woman benefitted,” he noted.
In light of these achievements, the Chief urged his community to support Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming elections, dismissing any attempts to sway voters with misinformation. “Let us remember all these and let us not be ungrateful. Don’t allow anyone to deceive you,” he advised. “The NPP government has done so well, and we believe that Bawumia will continue the good work of the NPP.”
The Chief also took the opportunity to request additional road infrastructure in the constituency, highlighting the need for improved road networks in Manso Adubia. In response, Dr. Bawumia assured the Chief and residents that he remains committed to expanding road infrastructure as part of his broader development agenda for the constituency and the country.
The Vice President’s visit to Manso Adubia forms part of his tour of the Ashanti Region, where he is engaging with traditional leaders and communities to discuss his vision for Ghana.
