Nduom challenges youth to uphold faith
The 2012 Presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has addressed about 500 youth drawn from all Catholic dioceses in Accra on how to create jobs and sustain them.

The participants also wanted to know the secrets of his success, the challenges he faced and how he dealt with them, as well as how he managed to control Groupe Nduom companies.
Addressing the youth seminar at Nii Boi Town in Accra last Saturday, he inspired the participants to not abandon their faith because it was one source of inspiration that would keep them going even if they should have misunderstanding in their domestic lives.
“Any one of you who wants to be successful must first have a congenial domestic life. That means you must also try as much as possible to get a partner that will share in your faith and beliefs. There may be misunderstanding but you can easily get over such problems if you are guided by your shared beliefs and faith," he told the youth.
Dr Nduom also urged the youth to avoid being deluded into thinking that they could easily establish their own businesses immediately they finished school.
He advised them to try to get employed, take their time to learn the rudiments and after they had saved enough and acquired the necessary experience, they could go into private practice.
He further challenged the youth to also learn from successful seniors on how they made it, saying he had faced many challenges, yet he persevered and scaled over those problems because he always started his businesses small, invested in them and gradually grew them to become large or big.
He also disclosed that he had been able to manage his empire because he recruited the best available materials and made sure that he imbued in them a culture of discipline and achievements of targets.

He said parts of his work ethics was that every employee gave weekly report, monthly report, quarterly report and yearly reports. And those who did not measure up to the standard were shown the exit.
