Speaking at the launch of the party's 2024 manifesto in Takoradi on Sunday, Dr. Bawumia highlighted that various speakers took the time to outline the projects and initiatives delivered from the 2020 manifesto.

Addressing the thousands in attendance, Dr. Bawumia stated that this approach not only underscores the NPP's superior track record but also reflects its potential to achieve even more.

"Our tradition, the Danquah-Dombo-Busia tradition, has not only been at the forefront of the rule of law and governance but also pioneers of life-changing policies and interventions," Dr. Bawumia remarked.

He thanked earlier presenters for showcasing the major achievements of the government under President Nana Akufo-Addo’s leadership.

"We have taken time to highlight these achievements because our track record is a significant predictor of our capability and potential to do more. We have cataloged them because, in the NPP, we see this as our obligation to the people from whom we draw our mandate."

He continued, "We have enumerated them because they demonstrate our ability to respond to the diverse needs of different sections of our society. We remain committed to fulfilling the social contract we have with the good people of Ghana. Above all, this exercise confirms that we have kept the majority of our promises, and given the opportunity, we will implement more impactful and forward-looking interventions to propel Ghana to the next level of development."

Dr. Bawumia also praised President Akufo-Addo, particularly for his role in implementing interventions like Free SHS, which have directly impacted millions of lives.

"We promised change, and we have made significant progress. Mr. President, history will be kind to you, and you will be remembered for the millions of lives you have touched. We are eternally grateful," he concluded.
