Odike's manifesto launch 'poorly' attended
The United Progressive Party (UPP) founded by Kumasi based Akwasi Addae Odike is launching its manifesto in Kumasi on Monday morning.
The ceremony which was advertised to start at 10am at the Golden Tulip Hotel had an empty hall as of 10:30am.
According to Graphic Online’s Kwadwo Baffoe Donkor who is at the venue to cover the event, neither the flagbearer, Akwasi Addae Odike nor the national executives and supporters of the UPP were present at the venue as of 10:30am.
A handful of media personnel who had been invited to cover the event were however present.
The manifesto launch is on the theme, “10years Development Plan /Campaign for 2016 Elections – An Era of job and wealth creation.”
The Kumasi based Royal TV is expected to cover the event live.
