Our manifesto will deliver achievable promises - Fifi Kwetey
General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Kwetey has stated that the NDC manifesto is based on solid principles and truth than "promises" which cannot be achieved.
This remark followed his criticism of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for allegedly undermining the robust economy inherited from the NDC.

Mr Kwetey highlighted that the previous NDC administration left behind a strong economy, featuring two oil fields and a thriving manufacturing sector, among other achievements.
"Today, we are going to listen to the unveiling of policies that will bring about some hope for our country again, set this country anew towards restoring our country to where it ought to be."
"The competition for power should not become a symbol for who can promise more because if it is an issue of promises, we know that we in the NDC can never match our friends in the NPP."
“When you say one village one dam and you know you do not have the capacity that is deception. Our policies are anchored on principles, the principle of respect for the people. We left behind a manufacturing sector that was wrong, two oil fields, a strong cocoa sector," he said.
In attendance are the rank and file of the party including the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, running mate of the party, Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang and National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.
