He says the objective of politics is to secure a better future for young people and the nation at large, which politicians in the country have failed to achieve.

Mr Dwuma-Odoom has, therefore, called on politicians to deal with these concerns with the attention it deserves to prevent youth revolt.

He made the statement at a two-day leadership empowerment seminar organised for the youth of the Twifo-Atti Morkwa District with support from Leadership International Foundation.

He reiterated that he sometimes regreted being a politician when he reflected on how they had failed the youth of this country. He said: "If politicians do not take care, the youth will one day rise to attack them in this country."

Dr Delanyo Adadevoh, who is the founder and president of Leadership International Foundation,  said Ghana and Africa needed leaders who were selfless, transformative, authentic, dependable, had integrity and above all did not have the tendency for corruption.
