Emphasizing that royalty and authority comeS with a responsibility to serve, Dr. Prempeh, also known as Napo, highlighted the importance of leadership driven by humility and integrity.

"Royalty is not just a title or a privilege, but a call to service. It is a responsibility to lead, to guide, and to serve our people with humility and integrity," Dr. Prempeh stated during a visit to the Paramount Chief of the New Juaben Traditional Area, Nana Kwadwo Yeboah Gyamfi, on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Addressing the gathered chiefs, Dr. Prempeh underlined the critical role of traditional leaders as custodians of culture and values. "As royals, you have been entrusted with the welfare of your people. Your role is not just to reign but to serve as a beacon of hope, a symbol of unity, and a source of inspiration," he said.

Dr. Prempeh assured the traditional leaders that, under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP would recognize chieftaincy and religious institutions as essential partners in national development. He pledged that these institutions would be integrated into all structures of governance to contribute meaningfully to the country's growth.

The Paramount Chief, Nana Kwadwo Yeboah Gyamfi, welcomed Dr. Prempeh and his entourage, acknowledging Napo's dedication and hard work, particularly in his roles at the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Energy. He expressed confidence in Napo's ability to serve the nation diligently if elected.

"I am totally convinced that Napo and Bawumia will succeed. Their journey ahead is not easy, but I know that with hard work, they will succeed," the Paramount Chief remarked, offering prayers for divine blessings on Dr. Prempeh's life.

The traditional leaders also appealed to Dr. Prempeh to address pressing issues such as illegal mining, known as galamsey, which is harming water bodies, and to create employment opportunities for the youth.

They urged him to ensure the completion of ongoing projects started by the previous government.

Dr. Prempeh was accompanied by key figures from the NPP, including the National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Acheampong, and other regional executives and parliamentary candidates.
