Stop using Rawlings’ photos on NPP flyers
The office of former President Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings has asked persons said to be using his images producing New Patriotic Party (NPP) graphics and flyers to desist from the unethical practice.
A statement signed and issued by Mr Kobina Andoh Amoakwa of the Communications Directorate of the office of the former president, said computer generated NPP graphics and flyers using the image of the former President with accompanying campaign slogans, are awash on social media platforms.
“The office wishes to caution those who are producing these party materials to desist from such unethical practice at this crucial period.”
In a related development, the office also informed the general public that President Rawlings has not issued a statement nor made any comments on the Montie FM saga.
The statement concluded that “a text circulating on social media purporting to be his comments are false and a total fabrication.”
