Strive to bridge information gap - Mahama Ayariga
Mr Ayariga made these remarks when the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr Peter Jones, paid a courtesy call on him in Accra yesterday.
He said his main focus as the Minister of Information was to help sharpen the skills of journalists, who were also expected to regulate themselves in their professional duties.
Mr Jones congratulated the Minister on his appointment and stated that he would continue to work with him just as he did with him as a former Deputy Minister of Education.
He said his priority was on education and would continue to see to it that more UK universities were established in Ghana to enable more Ghanaian students to attain the highest British education.
