Vote PPP for job creation - Nduom
The agenda of the PPP in the homestretch of the election campaign is to focus attention on key constituencies that the party is hopeful of capturing.
With Dr Nduom hailing from Elmina, the PPP considers the KEEA Constituency a birth-right and has accordingly declared it a ‘No Go’ area for other political parties, as the party virtually made the constituency the nerve centre of its election campaign.
Last Sunday, the PPP presidential candidate spent considerable time in KEEA, interacting with his kinsmen in a close-up campaign, as he urged them to vote massively for the PPP on Friday.
He introduced the party’s parliamentary candidate, Doreen Manieson, to the people.
From Elmina, Dr Nduom proceeded to address a mini rally at the London Bridge, a popular social joint in Cape Coast.
As his convoy approached the venue, a very pleasant spectacle unfolded when a large number of people wearing NPP T-shirts who were undertaking a candle-light procession along the street started cheering the PPP presidential candidate.
When Dr Nduom decided to acknowledge the cheers by standing out of his vehicle to give them a wave, the excitement, in the cool evening of the day, hit a higher pitch.
Having finished paying such political compliment, Dr Nduom mounted the dais at the London Bridge to lash the NDC and the NPP for failing the people during their respective administration.
He said having failed to deliver, it was only reasonable for the electorate to reject those two political parties in the polls on Friday.
Dr Nduom said the PPP offered a better alternative for Ghanaians, and urged the people to vote for the party in the coming election.
He said with his track record of running a portfolio of successful businesses and job creation as compared to President John Mahama of the NDC and Nana Akufo-Addo of the NPP, the PPP was the best party that could deliver jobs for the people.
Dr Nduom urged the electorate to vote for the PPP parliamentary candidate for Cape Coast South, Bright Edem Droefenu.
He later addressed students of the Cape Coast Polytechnic and urged them to also vote for him and the PPP parliamentary candidate for Cape Coast North, Mrs Sarah Mary Bucknor.
