The coaches, numbering about 50, reassembled at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence last Monday to begin their final 15 days training and successful completion of their practical lesson in search of the Licence A, comparable to the UEFA Licence A.

They include all the national team coaches, Premier League coaches, as well as some individuals who have undertaken the previous courses.

Briefing the Daily Graphic on the course, Mr Francis Oti-Akenten, one of the CAF Coaches Instructors and head of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Technical Directorate, said the completion of this final stage would determine if the coaches qualify for the highest coaching certificate on the continent.

He said in all the coaches were expected to undergo a 240-hour training programme and the first 120 hours, which covered 15 days, was completed earlier in the year and the current programme would conclude the training.

The course content for this final part includes psychology, management, anatomy, physiology, physiotherapy, laws of the game, video analysis and practical lessons on the pitch.
