Court dismisses case against GFA Congress

The GFA Extraordinary Congress will come off as scheduled on Tuesday, August 18, after an Accra Fast Track High Court dismissed a case brought against the Association by Mr John Quayson.

Mr Quayson, who was the plaintiff in the case, was seeking the District and Regional Football Association elections to be held before the GFA presidential election scheduled for next Tuesday.

However, according to the ruling delivered by Justice R.B. Batu yesterday morning, the plaintiff lacked the capacity to sue the GFA.

The judge also awarded a cost of GH¢8,000 to be paid the GFA.
