The 20-year-old, who has scored seven goals this season, has been struggling to add to his tally in the past weeks as the Premier League enters enters a crucial stage with eight matches to draw down the curtain on the competition.

Speaking to the Graphic Sports yesterday, the Black Satellites striker attributed his current situation to fatigue but assured his fans that he would be back with a bang on Sunday and help push Kotoko to the summit of the league table.

“I want the fans to bear with me.   Of course, I have been playing consistently for the Black Satellites and Kotoko at the same time, and sometimes when you play too match you tend to lose steam.

“I think I’m  ready to prove my worth to Coach Michael Osei. I have not scored for a long time now but on Sunday,  Dauda will be back,” he declared.

The talented forward believes his lone goal that sealed victory for the Porcupine Warriors during their first round encounter  against Dreams at the Dawu Park, would psychologically lift his spirit as he seeks to end his goal scoring drought.
