Dreams FC and Philteng Medical Centre sign agreement

 

Dreams Football Club last Friday sealed a one-year partnership agreement with private medical firm, Philteng Medical Centre, to cater for all the ‘MediCare’ needs of the team.

Per the new partnership, Philteng Medical Centre, which is headed by Dr Philemon Mensah, will see to the medical needs of the entire team and other employees of the club during the 2016/2017 league season.

As part of the deal, Philteng Medical Centre will also run various health seminars for both the playing body and back room staff of the club while Dr Mensah becomes the official team doctor.

Speaking after appending his signature on behalf of the club, Mohammed Ameenu Shardow, administrative manager said “we are very excited with this partnership and we hope that both parties will execute all proposed plans pertaining to this agreement without any challenges.”

“Indeed, a football club like ours needs quality medical care at all times and that is what this partnership is offering us so we are grateful to the leadership of Philteng Medical Centre for this wonderful union”, he added.

Philteng Medical Centre becomes the fourth corporate entity to join forces with the Dawu-based club after EMWL Microfinance, May Vision Entertainment and Rich Dons Catering Services.

Meanwhile, the club has signed a four year contract with youngster Abdul Mugeese Zakaria from Division One League side Liberty Babies.

Rising midfield sensation, who made waves in the second tier league with his skilful display of talent completed the move last Friday and he is expected to play a significant role in the team in the coming season.
