After their heavy 0-3 thrashing by All Stars at Wa, Hearts coach, Mohammed Polo, will have to work extra hard to save himself from some blushes and appease the dissatisfied teeming Hearts supporters.

Hearts play host to a determined Wa All Stars at the Accra Stadium this afternoon in a bid to shore up their position on the league ladder.

The Phobians are currently third on the log, seven points behind bitter foes Kumasi Asante Kotoko, who face off with Dwarfs in a delayed 16th week pairing coming February 12.

In a bid to improve their lot in the second round, the Hearts management has revamped their set-up with four new signings, comprising Ivorian striker, Edikeu Berenger, defender Philip Boampong, Abdul Manan Mustapha and Gerald Odupong Wellington, while the return of talisman Obed Ansah from injury is expected to boost their midfield.

If Hearts’ gutsy post-first round display of seven wins  and one draw in friendly matches against lower division clubs can be sustained in today’s encounter, then Polo could savour some brief respite.

All Stars, currently 10th on the league table, would need at least a draw if they are to keep up with the pace of the competition.

At Essipong, Hasaacas welcome Amidaus in another cagey encounter, while Liberty Professionals trek to Kpando to play Heart of Lions.

New Edubiase will be strengthened by the return of CHAN revelation, Asiedu Attobrah, as they take on Aduana Stars at Bekwai, as Bechem United lock horns with King Faisal. in Bechem in another tight affair.
