Kotoko will avenge Hearts defeat — Amos Frimpong
“It was very difficult for us the way we lost to Hearts. We were very disappointed but its part of football and this time we will also make them feel the pain,” he told the Graphic Sports shortly after their arrival at the Kotoka International Airpor yesterday.
“We are confident because we just won our last game against Wa All Stars and this has given us the right momentum to give our fans something to cheer about especially after missing out in the FA Cup,” he declared.
The Kotoko skipper also disclosed that the level of confidence in their team was high having picked after beating the Phobians at the same venue in the first round of the Premier League.
“The team is very relaxed and confident because we have always performed better in Accra, particularly in recent time,” he added
However, Frimpong was full of praise for the Phobians talisman, Samudeen Ibrahim but said his side had good players to counter the talented midfielder.
