Rahmaan is Unstoppable in 2026

MUSICIAN Abdul-Rahmaan Ahmed, popularly known as Rahmaan, has kicked off 2026 with a bang! He's dropped his new EP, Unstoppable marking a fresh start not just for the New Year, but also for his music career.

Again, Rahmaan has rebranded from his former stage name, Thug Omega, and is boosting the new image with Unstoppable.

It has six songs namely Bora, Kasi, Bawku, Black Maria all produced by Oyol Mix,Unstoppable was produced by Oyol Mix and Posigee and Buame produced by Max Rogue and mixed and mastered by Possigee.

Having initially gained recognition under the Thug Omega brand for his rap style and impactful presence in the northern music scene, Rahmaan is now poised to captivate a wider, global audience.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz on Monday, December 5, 2026 he said the rebranding signified a pivotal moment in his music progress, embodying growth, transformation, and a renewed vision.

He added that the new EP reflects his growth in music.

“Those who follow my works for years can testify when they listen to my new songs that Rahmaan's music has changed.

“It is now better produced, the words are deeper, and it mixes Hip-Hop and Afrobeats in a cool way. It's like a mix of what I’ve learnt over the years and my experiences as an artiste,” he said.

Rahmaan was born in Bimbilla and raised in Tamale where he started his music before relocating to the UK

Despite his relocation, Rahmaann said that hasn’t affected his love for his Northern culture.  

Apart from songs on the EP, he is also credited with others such as Alima, Yelim, Bejita, Sasabo.
