MTN Soccer Academy 2014: Shaibu is victim 2

Teammates at the ongoing MTN Soccer Academy “Skuulz Challenge” 2 last Sunday displayed their skills at the Eviction 5-aside match at the Soccer Academy pitch.

The two teams started the game with enthusiasm with both sides looking very much eager to establish their hold on the game. Initially, the OMP team displayed splendid one-touch passes as Shaibu Hamidu, teammate Number 7, in the second minute fired a shot just away from the 18-yard box of the MTN team, which eluded the goalkeeper, giving the Team OMP an early lead in the game.

The first goal seemed to have had some impact on the MTN team as they emerged with energy and scored two spectacular goals on the 53rd and 55th minutes respectively.

The night was, however, a sad one for Shaibu Hamidu from Berekum Senior High School, who was evicted, becoming the second teammate to leave the competition.
