The team manager of the Wa-based club,  Seth Panwum, told the Graphic Sports that  All Stars had beefed up their attack  during the break with three new signings namely, Michael Mensah from Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Abdul Wahab and Dauda Isahaque from Brekem Chelsea and Westland FC respectively to boost their goal scoring abilities.

The three, according to  Panwum are expected to give Coach James Cobblah variety of options in the striking department of the team.

Although, All Stars are currently 10th on the league table,  Panwum said, their objective was to win the league title but they are also ready to take consolation in emerging among the first four teams.

Recounting how the two teams had fared in previous seasons, Panwum said, encounters between All Stars and Hearts  had always been dicey but said Hearts were  currently under pressure to win.

“Hearts are rather under pressure because they would want to appease their fans by redeeming their image after the 0-3 loss they suffered at the hands of All Stars during their visit to Wa in the first round last December”, he noted.

He said All Stars were able to beat Hearts in all the league matches played last two season but Hearts managed to come back strongly last season and won 2-1 at home and 1-0 in Wa.

That notwithstanding, he said Wa All Stars were bent on improving their record against Hearts and, for that matter, they were coming to Accra to win.

Coach James Cobblah who recently took charge of Wa All Stars from Danbort FC said the team believed in its preparation and its attack and therefore nothing would stop them from winning against Hearts of Oak tomorrow.
