Montpellier loan Bastian Badu to Chambly
The France-born striker on Ghanaian parentage spent last season on loan at the Ligue 2 club where his season truncated by an injury, as the championship also came to an abrupt end due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Badu, 20, held preseason training with Montpellier but has now been loaned out to Chambly again to give him enough playing time to aid his development.

Graphic Sports Online can reveal that the loan contract did not give Chambly an option to sign the youngster on a permanent deal as Montpellier still places value on him and hope he would develop to lead their attack in future.
The player made his Ligue 1 debut for Montpellier against Angers on October 26, 2019 and is widely considered as one of the best young French prospects.
Born in the French city of Le Mans to a Ghanaian father and a French mother, Badu has already represented France at the under-18 level although he is still eligible to play for Ghana at the senior level.
