70 golfers for Ashfoam Monthly Medal
About 70 golfers, many of who are professionals from the Kumasi metropolis and the Obuasi Municipality are expected to participate in the Ashfoam Monthly Medal competition at the Kumasi Golf Club on Tuesday, October 15.
The competition, which tees off at 7 a.m., with competitors vying for trophies, monetary and other valuable rewards for winners
Speaking to the Daily Graphic, the Captain of the Kumasi Golf Club, Martin Opoku, said the sponsorship package provided by Ashfoam included directional sign boards to help improve on the visibility of the golf club.
“We want to make the Kumasi golf park more visible to any new comer and potential golfers, hence our desire to erect giant sign boards at vantage points in the Kumasi metropolis,” he said.
“They [sponsors] are providing magnificent trophies for the winners, so it is my expectation that the participants will give their best and make the competition very keen and exciting.”
