Ashgold Sunday fought from a goal down to beat New Edubiase 2-1 at the Len Clay Stadium to end their eight-match drought in the First Capital Premier League.
The miners suffered an initial setback when Bismark Idan powered Edubiase ahead on 24th minute but midfielder Alhaji Sanni levelled up for the homesters.
Ivorian-import defender Didier Kore fetched the winner for the miners.
