Ayariga rallies support for Stars
Minister of Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga, has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the Black Stars' campaign at the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, next year.
He said the team desperately needed the support of all Ghanaians after it fell out of favour of Ghanaians following off- the- field issues at the last World Cup in Brazil.

He told the GNA Sports that: “Next month, we will be in Equatorial Guinea for a tourney to once again test our stand in Africa as a great footballing nation. I will like to appeal to all and sundry to rally behind the Stars as we go battle for the best.
“I know the history we made in Brazil with our disappointing performance but I believe we deserve a second chance to correct those mistakes and conquer Africa once again”, he stressed.
Ghana are in Group C with Senegal, South Africa and Algeria as they chase their fifth continental glory after three decades.
The Black Stars were semi-finalist at the last two editions of the tournament co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea in 2012 and South Africa last year.
