The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has provisionally suspended 10 Ghanaian referees while handing down various punitive bans on 11 others, including a life sentence on celebrated Kenyan assistant referee Aden Marwa Range from all football activities.

Four Ivorian officials, a Togolese, Nigerien, Mauritanian, Malian, Gambian and a Burkinabe were all handed varying bans, beside the life sentence imposed on the Kenyan.
