Cape Coast: Over 300 turn out for Betway Talent Search
Former Black Stars players Mohammed Gargo, Sam Johnson and Godfred Aduobe were joined by other scouts and coaches for the second edition of the Betway Talent Search held at the Schools and Colleges Park in Cape Coast.
A total of thirty-two (32) players were selected from the Central Region for the Southern Trials held September 3, 2018.
The coaches and scouts appeared visibly excited with the skills and talents exhibited by the young football talents on the pitch.

The talent search initiative by Betway, Ghana’s leading online sports betting company which offers young unsigned football talents an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents to coaches and scouts. It also offers them an opportunity to meet and interact with some top Ghanaian football legends.
Gargo in an interview after some drills said: “We are happy with what we have seen today in Cape Coast. We have been able to identify some great talents here. Cape Coast has been amazing.”

The winners of this year’s Betway Talent Search will be drafted into the four Ghana Premier league clubs sponsored by Betway Ghana. This falls in line with Betway's continuous effort to develop sports in Ghana.
