Among some of the personalities who attended the launch were  Herbert Holio Doe Adika, past chairman of Accra Metropolitan Juvenile Football Association, Emmanuel Adote Thompson, life director and acting chairman of Ken Harrison Babies, and Rord Sylvester Acoda Young, founder of Mighty Victory Sporting Club.

The CEO of PFM Media Network, organisers of the awards night, Reverend Adjei Addo, was hopeful  that the programme would help resuscitate the dying colt’s soccer in the country.

“We conceived this idea as one way of helping to revive  colts football”, he stressed.

He said his late father, La-Danso Addo,  an avid soccer fan who worked, lived and died a football philanthropic and enthusiast was the source of his inspiration to help colts soccer out of the woods.
