The former champion, John Anum, failed to participate in this year’s competition, giving way to Cyrille who dazzled the judges with some of his poses in the contemporary round to win the day.

Right from the beginning, Cyrille demonstrated his ability to show off his muscles in the various rounds of the dance poses, leaving the judges with no option than to crown him winner ahead of his closest challenger, Mustapha Mohammed.

The annual competition saw about 25 body builders competing in the heavyweight, middle and lightweight categories.

Emmanuel Fletcher also defeated Enoch Frimpong to win the middleweight category. Fletcher, who was the favourite, was calm in showing his torso, biceps and other muscles of his body to win the day.

The competition in the lightweight division was keenly contested, but at the end, it was the defending champion, William Kankam, who proved superior by defeating Oliver Rockson Prempeh to carry the day.
