G. Accra handball elections in March 18

Following a directive by the Ghana Handball Association that regional associations should hold elections to elect new executives, the Greater Accra Handball Association has opened nominations for the elections.

The positions to be contested for are president, first vice-president, second vice-president, treasurer, secretary and two executive positions.

According to the president of the Greater Accra Handball Association, Nortey Dowuona, a congress would be held for the election slated for March 18.

He told the Graphic Sports in an interview that forms were available at the Greater Accra Regional Sports directorate.

He said those interested in the presidency would pay GH¢500.00 with the first and second vice president position is GH¢300 and the other executive positions going for GH¢ 100.
