Ga-Dangbe Youth Festival reaches quarter-final

Four teams have qualified for the quarter-final of the ongoing Ga-Dangbe Youth Sports Festival for tourism and unity.

They are Ada, who will play Tema in the quarter-final at the Sege Community JHS Park in Ada, while Osu meet Ningo-Prampram at the Osu Salem Park.

Both matches were expected to be played yesterday, barring any technical hitches.

The winner of the Ada versus Tema game will meet the winner of the third quarter-final encounter between Nungua and Kpone at the Osu Salem Park on December 18.

It will be followed by another cagey quarter-final affair between La versus Gbee Owomli Apenkwa at the Osu Salem Park on December 25. The winner of that match will play the winner of Nungua versus Kpone.

The semi-final matches will be honoured on December 28 at the Osu Salem Park, while the final takes place at the Osu Salem Park on December 31.

The tournament, dubbed Unity Cup, is being organised by the Ga-Dangbe Youth Organisation to foster unity among its clansmen and kinsmen.
