Organisers have confirmed that the 2026 instalment, which marks the fifth edition of the festival, will feature competitions in men's and women's football, a men's basketball tournament, and a car show, with winners across the various categories walking away with substantial cash prizes.
The men's football winner will receive GH₵18,000, the women's winner will bag GH₵5,000, and the basketball champion will take home GH₵10,000.
Established in 2017, the Game 11 Football Festival has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a national movement dedicated to youth development and community engagement through sports. The event has become a platform for nurturing young talent, building character, and connecting communities through the unifying power of sport.
Beyond the competitions, the festival promises a vibrant entertainment experience, with top music artists, DJs, and MCs set to grace the stage. Rap sensation 5 Rave headlines the host of performers, while a car and bike show will provide additional excitement for fans.
Co-founders Felix Nana Sackey, Perez Cecil, and Nana Boansi Attafuah have expressed their ambition to see the event expand its reach across Ghana, deepening its impact through inclusive participation, professional scouting opportunities, and brand partnerships that create mutual value. Their vision reflects a commitment to building on Ghana's rich football heritage while creating sustainable pathways for young athletes to excel.
President of Game 11, Ivan Kwame Dzansi, speaking about the upcoming event, said: "Our mission is to reignite Ghana's passion for football while creating sustainable pathways for young athletes to excel. Game 11 fosters inclusion, discipline, and opportunity, building on Ghana's rich football heritage and shaping future leaders both on and off the pitch."
The festival, which has become a highlight on the Accra social calendar, is expected to draw large crowds of sports enthusiasts, families, and music lovers. With its unique blend of competition and entertainment, the fifth edition of Game 11 promises to be the most memorable yet.
