Goal machine Kofi Yeboah sets lofty targets after Eastern Region heroics
Teenage sensation Benjamin Kofi Yeboah capped off the 2025/26 Eastern Region Division Two League campaign in style, scoring a brace for Golden Youth FC against Akosombo United on the final day to clinch the top scorer award with nine goals.
But for the 18-year-old striker, this is only the beginning.

— a talent management outfit that nurtures athletes across several disciplines, including boxing — Yeboah joined Golden Youth FC midway through the season during the second round of the league.
Despite arriving halfway through the campaign, the prolific forward featured in all 13 second-round matches and played a key role in helping the Koforidua-based side finish fourth behind champions Asenema Akuapem Wait and See SC, 4Eva Yung Hills FC, and Right to Dream FC.
Yeboah’s impact was immediate and decisive. His nine-goal haul saw him finish as the league’s top scorer, highlighting his composure, sharp movement, and clinical finishing ability in front of goal.
The young striker’s consistency and relentless work ethic quickly made him one of Golden Youth’s most influential players. Time and again, he delivered in crucial moments, proving himself as one of the most exciting attacking prospects in the division.
Notably, Yeboah scored six goals across the final five consecutive matches of the season — a remarkable run that underlined not just good form, but sustained dominance.
His performances have now sparked growing belief within his management team that he is ready for the next level, whether in Ghana’s higher divisions, an opportunity abroad, or even a future national team call-up.
“The journey is still ongoing, and the goals keep coming. The future is bright, and Benjamin Kofi Yeboah is leading from the front. He surely is one to watch for the future,” said Samuel Agyei, CEO of SP Sport Management.
“He is simply unstoppable and continues to prove his quality, consistency, and hunger in front of goal. This is more than just performance — it’s a statement. He is a world-class player in the making,” Mr Agyei added.
