GRA, Immigration in tight title fight

This year’s Table Tennis League is set to go down the wire as Immigration and GRA battle closely for the title with the fifth week set for the weekend at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium.

Immigration have opened a three- point gap at the top of the league table with a resolve to overpower Prisons and Army.

National star, Derek Abrefa and high spinner Felix Lartey will have a tough time battling their colleagues in Prisons and the Army.

In other interesting fixtures of the day, Navy face Prisons, Team Baboo play Fire, Police  clash with GRA while Kings Royal Academy battle Synergy in the first round of matches.

 In the rest of the round one matches, Power Club face Madina Stars, Ashanti Monetary County take on Teasno Spinners and EMEFS versus Koforidua White Loopers.

The round two matches for the day include Army versus Fire, GRA engage Navy, Team Baboo encounter Synergy and Police face Madina Stars.

The rest of the matches have Kings Royal Academy facing  Tesano Spinners, Power Club battle White Loopers, while Ashanti Monetary County play EMEFS.

Meanwhile, the ladies matches will feature Navy against Immigration, Police versus Army and EMEFS against GRA.
