Our title dream still alive — Kenichi Yatsuhashi

Hearts were charged with three counts under Article 58 and 59 of the GFA’s General Regulations in respect of their week six game played against Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on April 3.

The ruling by the committee chaired by Cosmos Anpengnuo with Alex Kotey and Nurudeen Alhassan as members, fined the Phobians a total of GH₵12,000 and in addition play three of their home matches behind closed doors.

However, Coach Yatsuhashi says after beating Berekum Chelsea last Sunday to jump to the top of the table, the focus of the team will be on winning one game after another and maintain the lead on the summit.

“We are doing well now and it is possible we can maintain the lead but we cannot predict the future so we will try our best to take on another after match to see what will happen next. We will not lose focus because of the sanctions from the FA. It is true we need the fans but if they are not there, we will still continue to do our job”, he stressed.

On his team’s elimination from the MTN FA Cup competition, the Japanese American said, “that is in the past now. It’s sad we were eliminated so our focus is now on how to work hard and win the league”, he added.
