Partey, who makes an attempt to win the UEFA Champions League when his side faces city rivals Real Madrid tomorrow, is expected to join the Stars next Monday when they assemble to begin training in Accra.

Swansea forward Andre Ayew returns to the squad and will step in as skipper of the side in the absence of captain Asamoah Gyan, who is out due to injury.

The team is expected to leave Accra on Wednesday to Mauritius for the game to be played at the Belle Vue.

Ghana is leading Group H with 10 points and a point in Mauritius will seal their place at next year’s AFCON in Gabon.
